See you in August.

At the start of this year, my partner and I planned to take a mid-year pause, to block out some quality time, re-center, and make some bigger life plans together.

We said we'd take the month of July off, get some space to ourselves, and think about the big big stuff: life, what we care about, where we want to live, how we're approaching all those things together.

And well, somehow it's already July. So I'm going to stick to that, and take the next month off of the letters, and mostly off of email and the internet entirely.

But don't worry - these letters aren't going anywhere. My plan is to have a letter in your inbox at the start of August. Hopefully with a fresh perspective, and some exciting things to share.

It's dark, rainy, and at the depths of New Zealand's winters here, but I hope wherever you are, you find some sun, fresh air, and something that brings you to life in the month ahead. :)

Be well, take care of yourself - and I'll talk to you soon.

-Steven

p.s. The best thing I read this week was this fascinating discussion about "gut instincts", and the interaction between the brain and the body. It's definitely put a book on my reading list. Enjoy. :)
